Kimberly First Baptist

The first mention of Kimberly Church was at the yearly Mineral Springs Baptist Association meeting during September 14, 15 and 16, 1906.  There was a call for petitionary letters and one was received from Kimberly Church with F. W. Franklin as its delegate and Pastor. From the report of the Mineral Springs Baptist Association, Kimberly had 14 members at the last report with 4 baptism, 14 by letter and 6 removed during the year, with an ending enrollment of 26.  The Sunday School superintend was T. In the Summary Statistics of the Mineral Springs Baptist Association for 1936 it shows Kimberly as being constituted in 1908. When it says constituted in 1908 that means that Kimberly was meeting a couple of years before it was constituted as Kimberly Church.

Then, in the Summary Table of Mineral Springs Baptist Association for 1939, it shows that Kimberly was constituted in 1911 and this date continues from this date forward.  There are three different dates that are being shown within the reports of the Mineral Springs Baptist Association.
